biography
hello, im ian from aberdeen, in the cold land of scott. Guitar is my first instrumental choice. I bought my first les paul (epiphone) two and a half years ago, and have since become obsessed with music, and have purchased several other instruments, with which i am mainly incompetent with. Im not good at writing lyrics so its just instrumental stuff for now im afraid. Anyway, i'll hope to get some useful criticism.
I like this site... its cool.

pedal to the metal
Hey guys,
lame name, i know. i have trouble naming my songs, probably because they dont have any words, lol.
Anyway, this is a bit of a change from my usual style. Its actually my first "metal" song i've posted on bandamp.
Let me know what you think, and feel free to criticise. (btw, i know some parts sound a bit like tool... I wasn't trying to copy them, but i probably draw more inspiration from tool than any other metal band).
oh, its a bit loud btw. should've dropped it a few dB before posting
Cheers

sunrise saga
hey
I've been doing nothing but recording for about 24hrs, (excluding about 4 hours of sleep). Its been a long time since i've been inspired to make any music, so i guess im making up for it... .
I'd really like some percussion to go with this track, but i dont have any samples or vst's that would suit it. Any takers for that (i.e. collab)?
Hope you enjoy it. feedback is nice, criticisms and all.

I picture some chinese mountains covered in snow...house of flying daggers styley, but thats a bit hard to make into a song title... any thoughts or feedback is good.
Happy new Year

boring lecture time
hey, this is just a little noodle from a while back, (in the summer) when i had time to record.
i guess im posting it now cos i miss being part of the amp.
its a bit short on musical ideas, and is probably in the early stages of developement, but i have no plans at the moment to take it further (partly because i've forgotton how to play most of the parts, lol).
anyway, let me know what you think of it. i have to go to a lecture now (think im gonna be late).
Thanks
