piano theme V2

Hey

I've just been playing around with this and tweaking it a bit. I don't usually bother with putting other versions up, but I'm gonna enter this into the battle to see how it does, so I wanted the best possible version.
In this one, I've played with the drums to make them sound more prominant, added some cymbal swells for effect, aswell as some other nitty gritty things.  feel free to vote if you like it...

Hollow Soldier

August 8th, 2008 + 10:08 AM  ·  SirBorris

This is a wee instrumental, a bit on the heavy side. I've been playing around with it for a couple of days and have lost the will to continue playing around with it, so im uploading it more as an idea rather than a finished project. I think the drums sound a bit muffled and cluttered in parts, and i'm still searching for the right guitar tone.

Opinions and feedback are always welcome

cheers

pedal to the metal

March 28th, 2008 + 5:03 PM  ·  SirBorris

Hey guys,
lame name, i know.  i have trouble naming my songs, probably because they dont have any words, lol.

Anyway, this is a bit of a change from my usual style. Its actually my first "metal" song i've posted on bandamp.
Let me know what you think, and feel free to criticise. (btw, i know some parts sound a bit like tool... I wasn't trying to copy them, but i probably draw more inspiration from tool than any other metal band).

oh, its a bit loud btw. should've dropped it a few dB before posting

Cheers

Midnight Garden collab

June 13th, 2007 + 4:06 PM  ·  SirBorris

Many thanks to flyer for his inspirational lyrics and kine for singing.

Its taken me a while getting round to do this, i spose i was putting it off cos i knew it would be a big job (and because of uni work). I wanted to make it longer than the original, which wasnt easy cos it doesnt have a set tempo, (i didnt play with a metronome). we live and learn...

Please leave feedback
